THE 1960S

It all started in 1964, when Henry Kraus, founder of Electropedic Beds, took his wife to the New York World's Fair.  Here he was introduced to the Adjustable Bed, "the Bed of the Future."  Already in the "Contour Chair" business, he saw that the features and benefits of an Adjustable Bed worked similar to a Contour Chair, but offering 100's of reclining positions, instead of just one.

The 1970s

Henry Kraus while on vacation discovers a Latex Mattress at a small boutique hotel in Switzerland. He soon brings this discovery back to America for his Electric Adjustable Bed business in America.

The 1980s

The Son's of Henry Kraus, Lloyd and Philip working full time for the family business. Primarily Electric Adjustable Beds and Latex Mattresses.

The 1990s

The 2010s

Philip Kraus and Son, Paul Kraus working together.  Phil Kraus runs the Electropedic Bed Factory.  Together, they have also built the Electropedic Pillow Division.

The 2020s

Lloyd Kraus and Son, Zachary Kraus working together.
